Kendall Karson Interview by Sup69

NL- Really good interview with Kendall done by There is actually lots of interesting reading on that site

I got into the adult industry because I was in a bad 3 year relationship where I was lucky to get sex once a month for 5 minutes. He never wanted to do anything more than missionary or doggy. I tried bringing girls into the relationship, role play and toys, but he didn’t want anything to do with any of it. When I broke up with him, I got back into mainstream modeling where I was then recruited into the adult industry. I called up a high fashion photographer friend of mine in New York and asked him for advice. He told me I had everything it took to be a successful pornstar and to try one scene, and if I didn’t like it I never had to do it again, but at least I would know. Two weeks later I moved to LA and here I am now. I feel that porn is the best way for me to try everything I want to sexually in a safe environment.
How does it feel to explode on the scene and be nominated for 2 AVN awards?
It feels amazing. I’ve worked extremely hard to get to where I am in my career this quickly. It has taken serious ambition, dedication, and follow through. Seeing all my hard work starting to payoff is very rewarding and pushes me to take it to the next level on a daily basis.
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the love, support, and encouragement of my fans, and for that I can never thank them enough.
How is this year treating you and what are you doing different this year to help boost your career?
This year has been incredible so far! I will be focusing on PR, feature dancing, conventions, meeting my fans nationwide, feature/parody movies, radio, opening my own production company, launching a network of sites, and many other large projects that I am excited about and will be announcing in the near future!
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? 10 years?
In the next 5 and 10 years, I see myself very involved in the adult industry performing, directing, and producing content. I am opening up my own production company this summer which I am very excited about and plan on investing a lot of my time and money in to it, so that I can invest in many other business ventures in the future.
I also hope to be nominated for more awards, be on more magazine covers, have my own Fleshlight, etc. Someday in that time frame I hope to find the right man for me and have a family, but I’m not going anywhere anytime soon
Can you describe your first day on set?
My first day on set is a day I will never forget. I was so anxious and didn’t know what to expect. My adrenaline literally pushed me through my scene. I was naked, playing video games, ignoring my boyfriend, until he seduced me into having sex with him.
I was so focused on giving a good performance that I blocked everything else out and didn’t even notice the major rug burn I had on my knee from riding in cowgirl position on the carpet. I had always swallowed my boyfriends’ cum in the past and just thought it was normal, so I thought I would be an over achiever and really impress the director by swallowing the pop shot.
The only problem was they hadn’t taken stills of the cum shot yet. No one had explained to me in advance what the procedure of filming a pop shot was and assumed I would be grossed out by the cum. The director’s face went blank. He said “Well I give you an A for effort and being so ambitious, but we have to take pictures of the cum before you swallow it.” LOL Luckily the male performer was able to provide another pop shot quickly and the scene came out great.
What has been the best thing to happen to you in the industry so far?
Obviously getting nominated for Best New Starlet and Best POV Sex Scene at AVN this year was a very big honor and achievement for me. Other great things would be acting in the New Superman Man of Steel feature for Vivid, The Love Boat XXX parody for Adam and Eve and Xplay, and finding my amazing publicist, Dominic Acerra.
The worst thing?

I have been fortunate and haven’t had any major negative experiences or issues so far in my time in the industry.
What is your favorite position?
It really depends on who I am having sex with because everyone connects in a different way, but I usually prefer doggy, missionary, and cowgirl.
Would you prefer to take a woman home for the night or a man?
Can I take both?!? That’s more fun I love to play with girls and could go down on a clean pussy all day long, but I could never give up cock. I think having more people involved can be more erotic because not only are you involved and can do more things but you can watch as well, which can be a huge turn on.
Describe your ideal man.
I don’t really have a type per say. I find intelligent, driven men who know what they want and how to achieve it to be extremely sexy. It’s one thing to be confident yet not cocky and talk the talk but it’s another to actually follow through and show results. I’m simple, I want a man who will respect me, be honest, communicate with me, and a sense of humor is always a plus.
As far as my favorite parts on a man, I would definitely have to say the eyes, abdomen and ass.
What is your ideal first date?
I’m a huge foodie, so my ideal first date would be going to a great restaurant or wine tasting, being able to get to know each other better over some amazing food and drinks and after maybe go to the beach or a sporting event.
We understand you were a victim of domestic abuse. We do not condone that type of behavior from anyone. If it’s not too much trouble, can you please elaborate on the situation you were in and how you got out of it?
I was in a very volatile, verbally, mentally, emotionally, and physically abusive relationship for a little over a year. The relationship was very one sided. I financially supported my ex-boyfriend our entire relationship. He refused to work for several months and expected me to pay for everything without him contributing to the relationship.
I had met him on set a month and a half into the industry, so I didn’t know how the industry worked yet, and he completely took advantage of this and manipulated me in every way to get what he wanted. He only looked out for his best interest instead of mine. He was extremely jealous, insecure and controlling. Later I found out this was because not only was he cheating on me but he had lied to me about everything he had told me, down to who he really even was as a person.
I honestly don’t even know who the person who was sleeping next to me for over a year really is, since that much of what he told me, even about the basics, was a lie. He had a “yes” list for me, wouldn’t let me swallow cum on set, work with more than one guy in a scene, would download all my scenes after they came out, watched an memorized them, then would come to me upset about me calling the talent baby, or kissing them, etc. He was always trying to get into my head and make me feel like the lowest piece of crap about performing, texting me or yelling at me before and after scenes, even though that’s how he met me, he was still performing, and it was paying for all our bills.
I later found out that he actually did close to 30 scenes behind my back while we were together, and did all the things he restricted me from doing. All I asked was that he respect me, be honest with me, and communicate with me, but he couldn’t even do those simple things.
I tried breaking up with him countless times, but he refused to move out and would threaten me and my career, then would guilt trip me by justifying his actions because something I did led him to it, so i would take him back and give him another chance. Unfortunately, like most women who are in abusive relationships I feel prey to his psychological games and the continuous beating down of my confidence and self image.
The more times I took him back and tried to forgive him and work towards moving forward, the more he took advantage of me and the more the abuse escalated. He threatened my life with a knife and finally one day he choked me in public out of anger in the Burbank Airport parking garage. I was stunned. I had always made excused for him, defended him, and justified his actions. No matter how ugly our arguments got I never believed that he would ever lay his hands on me.
When I finally came to terms with what was happening, I shoved him off of me and slapped him in the face out of self defense to give myself time to get away from him. He followed me through the airport up into the TSA line. It was at that point in time I knew that I could never go back or give him another chance.
His justification for choking me was “well I didn’t choke you until you almost passed out”, “It’s not like I beat you or anything because I’m not a woman beater”, and “I was trying to make you listen to me”. I was willing to forgive the lies and the cheating but I could never allow myself to go back to someone who could be violent towards women, especially one who was only escalating and could try to justify something so disgusting of which there is no excuse for.
I filed a police report, got a temporary restraining order, and was granted a permanent restraining order against him in a court hearing. I was fortunate to have the support of my friends, family, and industry to keep me safe and help me to start a new chapter of my life. I have never been more empowered than now, after standing up for myself and what is right. It took my ex violently putting his hands on me for me to realize the severity of the situation and to be able to leave, but I hope that my story and work with the NCADV can help other women to get away from these dangerous situations before they become the victims of violence, and if they already have been abuse, to help them have the courage to leave.
Do you have any planned events to help widen and bring to light the support you have for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV)?
Dave Navarro and myself are currently in the process of putting together a fundraising event for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV). It is a voluminously important issue to both of us as it has touched both of our lives and we are dedicated to doing our part to raise awareness to prevent violent situations, help those in violent relationships and give back as much as possible.
Please finish this sentence: ‘My life’s motto is…’
My life motto is live life unconditionally everyday. You only live once and life is so fragile and so many people take it for granted. No matter what I have been through in life, the good, the bad, and the ugly, I wouldn’t take any of it back because it has helped me become who I am today. From every life experience I believe you can take a valuable lesson and it truly shows who you are as a person by the way you handle these situations and what you take from them and implement into your life as a direct result. If you dwell on your past, you will miss out on your future. Everyday I am constantly striving to push and better myself and become the best possible and most successful person I can be instead of just being content with what is convenient.
