Landlord Seeks To Ban Jeff Mullen

From The Los Angeles Times:

The Knitting Factory’s landlord has accused the Hollywood Boulevard club of breaking its lease by hosting “adult entertainment parities” while screening “pornographic and erotic films.”

In a suit filed this week in Los Angeles Superior Court, the landlord, Street Retail West 7, is seeking to block a Saturday premier of two new X-rated films at the club. The event has been billed as a “major porn party.” The suit alleges the event is the latest in a series of adult film bookings at the venue that have triggered crowd-control problems and complaints from neighbors. Club managers declined to comment on the suit Wednesday.
