In a bit of shocking and weird news, a Japanese man was found dead in his apartment when his landlord discovered his corpse buried under an avalanche of his own porn magazines. The man, only known by his first name, Joji was a 50-year-old carmaker had a porn stash of smut magazines that totaled to an astounding six tons.
SIX TONS! To put that into perspective, the average car weighs about 1.5 tons!
Joji had been laying dead under his porn collection for six long months before his landlord finally discovered him after wondering why he didn’t pay his rent in that long stretch. A cleaning crew was hired to discreetly remove all of Joji’s pornographic materials and reported that every square inch of Joji’s apartment was filled to the gills with explicit magazines.
It was not immediately known if Joji had suffered and died from a heart attack and was buried under his x-rated magazines after the fact, or if he was crushed to death. In any case, poor Joji never saw it coming.
I can’t help but think that this man’s death could have been easily avoided if only Joji was streaming porn because, you know, it’s 2017. But maybe the guy was an extreme hoarder. Who knows. Let this be a lesson
