In addition to the success of her latest JackELd Phoenix release “Days Like This” which debuted at her headlining performance at Las Vegas Hempfest and has already garnered 2.2 Million plays on Soundcloud; Ms. Phoenix and her duo partner JackEL have begun collaborative works with House Music Legend, Chip E., who was named the “Godfather of House” by Street Mix Magazine, and is the first (and to this day the only) Chicago artist to be in regular rotation on all three major Chicago radio stations (WBMX, WGCI-FM and B96). In addition, he co-produced legendary House Music DJ/Producer Frankie Knuckles’ first record: “You Can’t Hide”. Chip also helped the careers of Liddell Townsell, Kevin Irving, and Harri Dennis of The It and is also credited with being the first person to use the terms “House” and “Jack” in his songs. His first release “Jack Trax” is one of the most coveted early house music releases worth over $500.00 in today’s market. An active DJ, Chip still performs in the UK and Italy, as well as continuing to work with major artists including Michael McDonald, Fleetwood Mac, Prince, The Dead, and The Black Eyed Peas. Chip has also branched out into Film and produced a feature-length documentary on the subject of House Music entitled The UnUsual Suspects – Once Upon a Time in House Music.

“I couldn’t be more excited.” Said Ms. Phoenix, “It really is a testament to how far our Music, our Label, and our relevance has come in the last year for a Legendary Artist and Producer like Chip E. to reach out to us and for him to be working on new material together with us as well as having us remix his music and be remixing ours at the same time. Both JackEL and I couldn’t be more flattered with that. While it’s been so amazing and special to have the support of our fans, it’s even more special when artists of Chip’s caliber support and respect us as well. I can’t wait to see all of the big things that are happening for us this coming year!”
