I figured Booble would be a good company to approach about advertising on LIB. They seemed to have the qualities I was looking for and I had talked to the owner Bob on several occasions.
Before I asked him about advertising though. I checked out how to get my site on their search engine. I followed the rules. Put a text link to Booble on the front page of my site and waited….. Supposedly they would shortly check to see that the link was there and add me to their search engine.
I waited 6 weeks. I checked their search engine. NOPE. I wasn’t there.
I wrote a note to Booble Bob on Face-Book. Told him about the long wait with no response. He didn’t answer me. But when I went back and looked at the rules again- it now said you have to wait 8-12 weeks for an approval and to hear back from Booble, instead of the original sentence that said 3-4 weeks.
So let me get this straight. I put a link to Booble on my front page for at least 3 months FOR FREE, and then you will get back to me to let me know if you are going to put me on your search engine?
That sounds like a scam. I don’t want to think that of a guy that I have always liked and a company that I thought was a good idea. But when I ran the most common items or names through a booble search I often got –
